Structure: The radioulna, the long bone of the forearm of frogs, articulates with the humerus at the hinge joint, the elbow. It interacts with the round, carpal bones of the front foot.
Function: As part of the upper extremity, the radioulna provides the structure that allows the frog to maintain its' posture with the head in an elevated position. A major role is providing the cushioning of the anterior part of the animal as it lands from a leap.
