The Virtual Creatures team has invited teachers to work with us in an ongoing effort to ensure that the technologies we're developing are addressing the needs of educators in classrooms. Our collaboration with teachers has included focus groups (conducted at Stanford and at San Francisco's Exploratorium) and school-site visits to observe the impact of the Jumping Frog unit in an actual classroom. In addition, our team has expanded this summer to include two teachers-in-residence at SUMMIT, working with project designers to help write the kind of curriculum that would make the Virtual Creatures resources teacher-, student-, and classroom-friendly.

what they hope to see in a project like Virtual Creatures. Click below
